There are three ducks within the work.The pair of eagles flying overhead calls to the mind the words of Isaiah 40:3 – “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles.”.As Psalm 42:1 so perfectly states, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs after you.” A small family of deer can be seen grazing upon the plateau and drinking from the stream.

This painting is filled with many natural symbols of family – such as the deer, eagles, bunnies and other beautiful wildlife.
